About Molly's Loft
Rooms
Molly's loft is a self-catering spacious one bedroom apartment with private deck. Molly's Loft can accommodate up to four people*.
*Not suitable for children under age 11.
DECK AND ENTRANCE
Molly's Loft is elevated, so a short climb of a dozen stairs will take you to the private deck and entrance. The deck offers a variety of seating options, with a table and chairs for alfresco dining, Adirondack chairs for relaxed conversation as you enjoy the views of Knocklayde, Glentaisie, and the manicured gardens below. A small firepit provides a cozy setting for evening conversation. The split farm door opens inward to the living area.
THE LIVING AREA
Ample and comfortable seating for four is provided with two armchairs and a sleeper sofa in an open plan setting. A rustic fireplace provides a focal point and creates a wonderful atmosphere for late evenings. A TV and bluetooth speaker is provided, and WiFi is provided for guests.
THE KITCHEN AND DINING AREA
A fully equipped kitchen is provided, which includes a four ring cook top and oven, a refrigerator and a washing machine. A kettle, toaster, and microwave are also provided. A dining area with seating for four is adjacent to the kitchen.
THE BATHROOM
The bathroom contains a heated towel rail, electric shower, and a jacuzzi bathtub. A shaver socket is located in the bathroom cabinet.
THE BEDROOM
A king size bed and plenty of storage space is provided. The bedroom also contains a vanity desk area.
PARKING
Private parking for guests is provided. For guests with sporting equipment (golf clubs, wetsuits, etc), ground floor storage space can be made available in the garage below the loft.
Amenities
We are located in the countryside on the outskirts of Ballycastle, with Capecastle forest nearby, bringing regular wildlife visitors to our location. Red squirrels, pheasants, black tipped hares and deer will regularly frequent the garden. On clear evenings swallows and bats will put on a summertime aerial display. Our rural setting means we have very little light pollution, which makes for clear stargazing on cloudless nights.
Molly's Loft is located in the region of the Antrim Coast and Glens, an area of Outstanding Natural beauty. There is something for everyone on our doorstep, to include the picturesque seaside town of Ballycastle, home of the historic Auld Lammas Fair, Rathlin Island with its abundant wildlife and bird sanctuary, the wild ruggedness of Fair Head, the Dark Hedges, Ballintoy harbour, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, the Giant's Causeway, and the town of Bushmills with its world famous distillery.
For sporting enthusiasts there are many golf courses, to include the Royal Portrush, home of the 2019 British Open, nearby beaches for fishing, surfing, and swimming, and miles of hiking paths.
The area is also home to a wide range of movie locations, most notably the Game of Thrones.

Pets
We are unable to accommodate pets at Molly's Loft.
House Rules
To ensure everyone has the best possible experience at Molly's Loft, we ask that you observe the following rules during your stay:
- Not suitable for children (2-12 years).
- Not suitable for infants (under 2 years).
- No smoking.
- No parties or events.
- This is our home. We welcome you to enjoy the gardens, but please refrain from littering.
- Groups no larger than four people, please.
- Pets are not permitted.
- No unregistered guests are permitted.
- Lost keys will incur a £10 replacement fee.
- No illegal substances in the loft, on the deck, or on the entire premises.
- No eating or drinking in bed.
- Please make every effort to check in after 4pm at the start of your booking, and check out no later than 11 am on the conclusion of your stay.
- Guests agree to pay for damages.
- Please respect the towels, linens and fabrics.
- If you wear fake tan, please consider bringing your own towels and bedding. Excessive cleaning due to makeup and fake tan stains will incur an extra cleaning charge of £50.
- Please inform us immediately of any issues that arise during your stay.
